epa05455036 Members of the Army of Serbia and the members of the special police forces called Gendarmerie are patrolling, trying to prevent the entry of illegal migrants at the border between Serbia and Bulgaria, near the town Vlasina (400 km from Belgrade) in Serbia, 04 August 2016. Joint patrols of the Army and the Serbian police for the last ten days are controlling the Serbian border with Macedonia and Bulgaria in the attempt to prevent the entry of illegal migrants. After closing the Balkan route the number of illegal entries of migrants on the territory of Serbia has increased and according to the Serbian army during the last ten days the entry of about 700 illegal migrants has been prevented.
